In fact, I can't think of a notable advertisement Nash has been in—until now.
When Toyota came calling, Nash was listening, and they put together a great spot to promote their cars. It doesn't even mention the car in the entire commercial. All it talks about is Nash and how he feels to be a professional basketball player.
It follows Nash leaving his house for practice in the morning and all the sights and sounds he experiences during his day as the leader of the Suns. As he pulls into the facility, some of the local children are waiting for the local hero to give them an autograph.
Then, out of nowhere, a hilarious moment happens. What it is, I won't tell you, but with Nash having a great comedic voice, it comes off perfectly and leaves you chuckling at the end of it.
I hope this commercial starts going into regular rotation in America so we can all appreciate Nash for more than just his ability to run the point guard position better than most. Hopefully this catches the eye of some companies out there who will try to get Nash in more spots.
He has shown that he can carry an advertisement by himself with this piece.
