Pac Man, the Fighting Pride of the Philippines, is 32 years old with a record of 52-3-2, with 38 KOs. He has won 13 matches in a row, claimed titles in eight different divisions and is widely considered the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
Pacquiao’s WBO welterweight title will be on the line against Mosley, who comes in at 39 years of age and has a 46-6-1 record over the course of his career, with 39 KOs.
Sugar Shane, however, is coming off two consecutive lackluster performances, having lost badly to Floyd Mayweather Jr. and drawn with Sergio Mora.
Therefore, it’s not a huge surprise that the younger, seemingly fitter and more popular Pacquiao is a heavy favorite entering the fight.
But that doesn’t mean there won’t be plenty of intrigue before, during and after Saturday night’s tilt.
