Brock Lesnar vs. JDS: TUF 13 on Spike TV—Zach David Defeats Chuck O'Neil
Hate to ruin the suspense (or maybe I'm adding to it), but with only 10 minutes left in the show, this probably ain't gonna be a long contest.
Which is a damn shame because it means we only get one shot of Chandella Powell, the most underrated uber-hot chick I've ever run across. Or maybe I just like her because she talked to me. She actually talked to me, man!
OK, Davis and O'Neil are off with Zach scoring the first points via takedown. Chuck isn't doing much other than holding Zach at bay via the clinch, but he suddenly reversed position and almost completes a single-leg takedown.
Team JDS' entrant is having none of it, though, and registers a reversal of his own before getting another takedown. This one he's able to control and maintain his dominant position as he works to get out of O'Neil's guard. He decides there's more hay to be made on his feet so Davis stands up and begins punching, then kicking from above.
Team JDS almost eats another heel kick from Team Lesnar so its athlete backs away and allows Chuck to re-take his feet. That might've been a mistake as O'Neil grabs a takedown. He begins to work the ground 'n' pound and is settling into a nice niche, but it's a Pyrrhic victory as he's quickly caught in a triangle.
O'Neil resists temporarily, but the tap is inevitable.
Zach Davis defeats Chuck O'Neil by submission (triangle choke) at 3:30 of the first round.
