Rams Stun Skins
If there was not any crying at FedEx Field after Josh Brown kicked a 49-yard field goal to stun the Redskins 19-17, you may have been able to hear a pin drop in the nation's capital. The Rams have finally won a game as they went into the game with a new coach, and a new attitude with little care....well, because they were 0-4 and in the cellar.
Not much to say about this game. It was a battle, the Skins underestimated Jim Haslett and the Rams -- FYI, Coach Haslett has won a division title, had four season with at least eight wins, and guided the New Orleans Saints past the defending champion St. Louis Rams in the 2000 playoffs.
He knows how to win, and if you give him the right situation, he can help any team win on any given week. The Skins went into the game 4-1 and feeling great, but they may have lost sight of the mission and that was to not relax and to win.
Props to the Rams! They deserved it because they outplayed the heavy favorite on Sunday, and on the road.
