NFL Lockouts Can't Hold Back Drew Brees and His New Orleans Saints
The NFL Lockout has stopped teams from working with players, but it isn't stopping players working with other players.
On a day when Eli Manning got 11 New York Giants together in Hoboken, Brees blows the doors off player-organized workouts with 37 of his teammates.
Is there anything this guy can't do?
NFL.com reported the workout that took place at Tulane University writing:
Brees said the workouts could expand to include position-specific activities should the lockout remain in place longer ... Brees called the workouts an opportunity for more players to take on leadership roles.
This is how a quarterback acts.

Connection? Guys that want to win. In comparison, Tony Romo has had other plans, but I won't get into that again.
The Saints are arguably the No. 2 team in the NFC after their draft netted them two top-12 talents in the mid-to-late 20's.
Offensively this team should be a dominant force again and they also got some defensive talent for Gregg Williams to play with.
If you are Sean Payton and the rest of Saints coaching staff you have to love this.
If you are another quarterback in this league you have to realize that this is the type of thing it takes to win, even if there is risk involved.
