Will Manny Pacquiao Beat Shane Mosley?

Manny Pacquiao is the biggest name in boxing right now. His record is 52-3-2, but he is 32 years old. He takes on Sugar Shane Mosley on May 7th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Mosley is 46-6-1, but he is 39 years old.

You can say the age is the main reason Pacquiao will win this fight, but really its the fact that Pacquiao is just a better boxer. However, Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach says it won't be that easy for the best boxer out there. I think that's just talk so Pacquiao won't get a big head. He isn't one to do that, but when everyone is saying he's  going to win with ease someone has to bring him down to earth.

But what if Pacquiao loses this fight? Mosley may be seven years older, but he's no push over. He can handle the speed of Pacquiao and has great power himself. Not many are picking him, but the chance on him knocking off Pacquiao is there.

If somehow Pacquiao falls to Mosley it will have a huge impact on the sport of Boxing. If he wins all will be the same. If he loses then boxing fans will be shocked.

A loss to Mosley would then make Pacquiao look vulnerable. That would mean that a Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight would be even more possible. It's the fight that everyone wants to see.

So when Pacquiao fights Mosley this weekend, you'll most likely be rooting for him to win. But maybe a little of you wants him to lose, because if he does then the chances of him fighting Maywearther get stronger.
