WWE News: The Real Winners of Sunday's WWE Extreme Rules 2011
WWE News dissects those who really won at Extreme Rules
As Khamra entered the ring last night, everyone knew something really cool was about to happen. She’s big, imposing, and skilled in a ring. She came in and within seconds destroyed Michelle McCool, giving her an unpleasant exit from the WWE.
Kharma was a winner last night, but she wasn’t the only winner at Extreme Rules.
Kofi Kingston came into his match with Shaemus as the forgotten man and walked away as the United States Champion. Heading over to RAW means Kofi gets to come with a little hardware and it gives him a lot more credibility than he had going in.
Shaemus gets a win in his defeat last night. As long as he held the United States belt he was going to be held back from the main event picture on SmackDown. Now that he lost the belt he can move in instantly to become a top heel on Friday nights.
Christian’s thrilling ladder match isn’t just a win for him because he came away with the belt, but because he had one of the best moments after the match. After a long struggle to get past being a mid-card guy, he found himself with the belt and those tears in Edge’s eyes were real tears of happiness for his best friend.
These guys came out on top last night.
