Pardon me for being confused here. I do not understand this move one bit.

The Dallas Cowboys traded three draft picks. A first-round, third-round and a sixth-round for Roy Williams. Now I realize that the first pick will be a mid-to-late round pick, but it still seems to be a bit much. Williams is a very good receiver.

The thought of Romo coming back from injury and being able to throw to Terrell Owens and Williams sounds great, but you just can't afford to throw the 2009 draft away for a position that should be at the bottom of the Cowboy's needs list.

The move for Williams was made shortly after finding out that Adam Jones was suspended. So you now have the other Roy Williams, Adam Jones, and Terrence Newman out. In my opinion It might have been better to get a cornerback or maybe look to the 2009 draft for a corner.

Does this move make the Cowboys better? We will soon find out. I don't think so myself, but that is what makes sports great.
