What a Game! What a Thriller! And What a sad and dramatic ending! Italy ( Brazil B team) won today against Iran ( B team- 2 of their best players missing). Italy only needed a draw and Iran only a win to go to the next round. However, with 50 seconds remaining, Iran saw its dreams come true by keeping the 5-4 lead. And than it happened out of nothing, lucky Italy scored and everything was over for the brave Iranians. The saddest thing about the whole thing was that Italy went through to the semis with a goal difference of +1. Nonetheless, that is why football is the most exciting game in the world. It is full of surprises, and great moments. Sometimes luck plays a great role in the outcome of a game like we saw today. However, I am still proud of the Iranians and their great strategies. After all, they only leave the tournament with one loss against the mighty Brazil. In the other game Brazil for the first time conceded 3 goals;however, won the game 5-3 at the end and will likely face Russia or Argentina. Spain will play Italy for a spot in the finals. Things are still interesting and exciting. Overall, it was a great and flawless tournament. One should say, with so many futsal fans in Brazil, they should have all the world cups in Brazil.
