DETROIT LIONS DRAFT MIKEL LESHOURE

Pick: With the 57th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select Illinois running back Mikel Leshoure.

Analysis: Mikel Leshoure is that bell-cow running back who can carry the ball 20-25 times a game and I expect him to add to that already prolific Detroit Lions offense. Him and Jahvid Best will be that one-two tandem that most NFL teams are looking for which should put some pressure off of Matthew Stafford and improve that 23rd ranked ground game. However, I do question, when will they go defense?

Draft Grade: B+
