Soccer WAGs USA: Ranking the Hottest Wives and Girlfriends of US Soccer

The term WAG originated in England to collectively term the wives and girlfriends of the English football team at the 2006 World Cup.

It quickly became a worldwide term and has spread to the United States, a country well versed in glamarous and stunning women.

Here we look at the hottest women connected with the men of US soccer, spanning the MLS and the US national team players spread throughout the world.

20. Dina Mcbride

WAG of: Brian McBride, ex-US international striker

Brian McBride is one of the finest goalscorers the US has ever produced, hitting the back of the net over 150 times for his various club teams and 30 times fro his country.

He also showed his ability to score off the field, with his stunning wife Dina, whom he posed with for the 2000 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition which is pictured here.

Not exactly a household name, Sassano was drafted by the New York Red Bull in 2008 before eventually moving onto Sporting Kansas City in 2011.

Freddy Adu exploded onto the scene at the age of 14, becoming the youngest American athelete to sign a professional sports contract.

14. Mariela Esterella

While at the Red Bulls, Borman met Mariela who worked for the club as a brand rep, a job that is best described as a group of hot girls promoting the team in sexy RBNY apparel.

Michael Bradley's dad, Bob Bradley, is head coach of the US national team and obviously approves of his son's performance on the field due to his consistant presence in the national team.

I'm sure Bob also approves of his son's off field performance given the stunning looks of his girlfriend, a former University of Rhode Island tennis player, who Michael is due to marry in the summer.

Signing for Seattle worked out to be a good move, it's where he met Danielle Lynn Schleiffers who works as a Washington Jagerette.

Jeremy Hall currently plays for Portland in Major League Soccer, but attended college at Maryland, the home state of his stunning girlfriend Leigh.

4. Rachida Brakni

One of the biggest names in world football, "King" Eric has shunned many opportunities to return to soccer since his retirement from playing with Manchester United in 2007, but took the New York Cosmos offer to become their Director of Soccer even though the club does not yet have a team, stadium or league to play in.

When moving to New York, the Frenchman also brought along his stunning second wife, French actress Rachide Brakni who he met on the set of Outremangeur in 2002.
