Everyone who watched the first round of last night’s draft knows that everything went according to plan with no surprises, right? Actually, nothing could be further from the truth.
Every solid truth we thought we knew about the first round never came to fruition.
The Atlanta Falcons started the first round madness by climbing 21 spots in the first round draft to select Julio Jones. Tennessee added to the craziness by opting to make Jake Locker their quarterback of the future rather than Blaine Gabbert.
These moves set the tone for what would be a wild and unpredictable first round.
As we move onto day two of the draft, I will let you know what to watch for moving forward. I will also let you know what some of last night’s madness means moving forward.
When will Da’Quan Bowers finally end his gigantic slide?
Who will select Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett?
These are all questions that need to be answered.
Updates will be continuously be made up until and throughout day two of the draft tonight, so check for updates as we move on.
Without further ado though, here are the rumors and storyline swirling around the 2011 NFL Draft.
