Zach HerringCorrespondent IIApril 29, 2011

The Houston Texans have taken Wisconsin defensive end J.J. Watt with the11th overall pick in the 2011 NFL draft.

The 6’5'', 290-pound Watt made 43 tackles behind the line of scrimmage, including 11.5 sacks in 26 games last season.

Houston’s defense ranked last against pass and 30th overall. The Texans are looking to aid their poor defense and drafting Watt will surely help.

Watt joins two former Badgers Garret Graham and Owen Daniels in Houston.
