After months of courtroom haggling and verbal barbs launched from the players and the owners, NFL fans finally get to focus on the Xs and Os with the 2011 NFL draft underway.

All the mocks are done, although, with all the chaos in the first 10 picks of the draft, it already feels like it's time to start mocking the mocks.

To be fair, there was plenty of talent at the top of the 2011 NFL draft. So coming up with a consensus No. 1 draft pick was nearly impossible. 

Cam Newton, Marcell Dareus, Blaine Gabbert and Von Miller all had some buzz going into the final days and fit the needs of the teams atop the draft board.

Players slid fast—file under Da'Quan Bowers and Nick Fairley. And players rose farther than most ever thought they'd go—file under Joe Theismann and Cam Newton.
