The 2011 NFL Draft has officially kicked off, and in a year without a clear-cut No. 1 pick, along with uncertainty about a possible impending lockout, there are more questions than ever.

Will as many as three quarterbacks be taken within the first 15 picks, despite the fact that the top-15 pro talents are at positions other than QB? Will a potential rookie salary cap change draft strategy? Will defensive linemen rule the first round?

I'm here to help you decipher which picks fill needs, which teams are picking up major value, and which teams dropped the ball in scouting.

While I don't share Mel Kiper's meticulously crafted hair or his angry outlook on life, I do share his love for the film room and feeling that this is one of the greatest days in the sports calendar year.
