When he left, he professed his love for the WWE and its fans, stating that he would never sign with any other wrestling company. After Fozzy finished their tour, many thought that Y2J would go back in the ring, but instead he chose to join the ABC's hit reality show, "Dancing with the Stars," teaming with expert partner Cheryl Burke in the celebrity dancing competition.
After this decision many of us wondered if Jericho would come back to what had made him famous and loved by millions: wrestling. During his six-week stint with "Dancing with the Stars," Chris had an interview where he implied that after the show, when he felt he could be fully committed to wrestling, he would return.
After hearing this, the IWC and I were salivating at the idea of Jericho getting the boot early so that he could save us. On April 26th, it happened. Chris and Cheryl were booted off the show and Jericho dropped a bomb saying that he was ready to be a dad again, implying that he would not comeback to wrestling and instead spend some time with his family. At the same time I was disappointed that it looked like he wasn't coming back, but also happy for him that he can be with family, the only thing that matters.
For many of you who don't know, Chris is on Twitter under the name IAmJericho and recently tweeted, "For the first time in 8 weeks I dont have dance rehearsals. What am I going to do with myself now? Anythin goin on in Tampa this weekend...?"
How Excited are You That Chris Jericho Might Be Returning?
Oh yeah, he did drop a bomb. WWE Extreme Rules is being held in Tampa, FL, this year and it will be great to once again to hear the greatest theme song in history in my opinion, "Break the Walls Down".
Now I don't know if this is an appearance or if it's the start of his return, but then again, I don't care because he is one of my favorites of all-time. We might even get to see a potential Rock-Jericho promo again with the "Great One" being on RAW next Monday.
So there you have it Jericholics, our boy might be making he long awaited return. What do you think?
