Former Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder has seen his stock rise in recent weeks on most experts' 2011 NFL mock drafts.
While there were questions in the beginning that many experts were asking like ESPN’s Todd McShay:
"Durability is a red flag that Ponder will try to shed in the weeks leading up to the draft. Unfortunately, his injury history, below-average size and somewhat reckless style do not help his cause."
Ponder has quickly shed those negative assumptions by proving to scouts that his shoulder and mentality is back at 100 percent.
Of course winning the Senior Bowl MVP had something to do with his emergence as one of the better QB’s in this year’s draft, but it also had to do with his impressive Combine performance and an above-average score of 35 on the Intelligence Test.
Let’s see where Ponder goes in this 2011 NFL mock draft.
