2011 NFL Mock Draft: Predicting Nick Fairley to the Tennessee Titans at No. 8
2011 NFL Mock Draft Agrees that Nick Fairley Is Going to Be a Titan
The Titans have a number of needs to fill but they look like they are going to be handcuffed at No. 8 with most of the real marquee players off the board.
The good news is that Nick Fairley will be available and he can come in and help out immediately.
At the end of the college football season Fairley looked like he really could challenge for the top spot in the draft. However, when scouts began to scrutinize the fact that he only had one full season as a dominant force his stock began dropping.
Sure the Titans could luck out and have a quarterback fall to them or maybe even someone like Von Miller, but in all likelihood that isn’t going to happen.
So while they might not have a big need at defensive tackle, Fairley is a guy that could have a lot of value for the Titans.
He also could end up filling the hole left by Albert Haynesworth when he left a few years back.
