NFL Draft Results 2011: Brandon Harris Added to Houston Texans Secondary
NFL Draft Results 2011 Have the Texans Stealing Brandon Harris Near the End of Round Two
Well the Houston Texans appear to be back on track with filling needs. After adding Brooks Reed as an outside linebacker the Texans moved back into the second round to add former Miami cornerback Brandon Harris to their depleted secondary.
Many experts have been mentioning that the Texans got away with robbery by taking Harris as late as they did.
The pick of Harris also means that Glover Quin is going to make the move from cornerback to free safety. It will be interesting to see just how much that move changes the face of this defense.
Now the Texans need to start looking for more depth and possibly a nose tackle. If they can start stocking the outside linebacker position I think the Texans could end up being a very highly graded team.
The Texans could also start looking to add another receiver to pair with Andre Johnson that will make their offense even more unstoppable but I really think they would be best suited to stay defensive in this draft.
