2011 NFL Mock Draft: Could Robert Quinn Be Available for the Houston Texans?
2011 NFL Mock Draft Has Robert Quinn Falling to the Texans at No. 11
In a perfect world for the Houston Texans, they would have the pick between Von Miller, Robert Quinn, and any other outside linebacker that is available in this draft. However because they are picking with the No. 11 selection they have to be happy with whoever falls to them.
While some draft experts think that Quinn will already be off the board, I think he ends up slipping to the Texans and they are happy to have him.
Quinn is a very interesting prospect because of the fact that he missed the entire season this past year because of breaking NCAA rules. I think he could really thrive on the fact that he hasn’t been able to play football in a year and that fuel could make him a beast off the edge.
He is also perfectly suited to play in the new 3-4 scheme that the Texans are putting in. He has a great ability to get the quarterback and he is extremely athletic and difficult to block. I think he could end up being the next Clay Matthews when all is said and done.
