NFL Draft 2011: Who Do Fans Thinks the Texans Should Pick at No. 11?
NFL Draft 2011 Options For the Texans are Fascinating For the Fan Base
Houston is a good half team. If all they had to do was play offense they would be among the best in the league, but it’s the whole defense thing that gets them in trouble.
They were the worst pass defense in football this year and despite the fact that they could upgrade that position pretty well in the first round, they are also switching to a 3-4 defense and have some pretty big holes to fill to make that change go smoothly.
AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky asks the question who should the Texans pick at No. 11?
His options are Prince Amukamara, Julio Jones, Aldon Smith, J.J. Watt or Trade Up.
While there might appear to be a few guys missing from the options he justifies it by saying, “Texans A&M’s Von Miller, LSU cornerback Patrick Peterson and North Carolina end/backer Robert Quinn are not in this poll. If you think Houston’s hellbent on getting one of them, there is a trade-up scenario for you.”
While I would think that Amukamara would be the leader on this poll, actually the trade up choice has 38 percent of the vote.
Not sure I think they would want to trade up because I really think that Quinn could be available at No. 11.
