NFL Draft 2011 Is Finally Here and the Jaguars Look to Solve the Rebuild
In just 24 hours, all the hard work put in for the last year by prospects, scouts, general managers, agents and coaches is going to come to a head. That’s right, the draft is finally here.
It’s the chance to find a franchise-changing player for each team.
For the Jacksonville Jaguars, that search starts with the No. 16 pick in the first round.
The Jags have been in the middle of a planned rebuilding of the team, and it almost looked like they were a year ahead of schedule when they came within a single win of making the playoffs.
However, now the Jags have a chance to really add some foundation-type players to continue the forward progress.
Some think the Jags' biggest needs are on the defensive side of the ball, and others think they are in desperate need of a quarterback, but only time will tell which direction the organization thinks they need to go.
Stay tuned here through the weekend for updates on each team’s picks and what it means for the franchise in each case.
