The Rays and the Red Sox traded blows all night. The Red Sox would score, the Rays would answer. It is great to see a back and forth game like that. Being at the game, it has to be the best game I have ever attended. I think it could be called the greatest game in Tropicana Field. Thanks to a great relief job by Dan Wheeler, and great production by BJ and Longoria, Rays fans were able to walk out of the stadium holding their heads high and ringing cowbells.

The Rays fans were electric all night, draining out cheers from Red Sox fans. I saw at least three different Red Sox fans get ejected from the stadium. The Rays need to pick up a win in Fenway and get back to St. Pete, where the Rays are close to unstoppable.

Among all the great moments, David Price was able to pick up his first big league win. What could be a better way to do this than in a game where it will be looked back on for many postseasons to come.
