2011 NBA Mock Draft: Cleveland Cavaliers Take Alec Burks, SG, Colorado, at No. 8
Cleveland Cavs Use Their Second First Round Pick To Add Some Talent At The Wing
Burks is somewhat of a skinny guard, standing at 6’6”, 195 lbs., but expect the new Cavaliers sharp shooter to hit the weights hard and improve upon his 20.5 points per game average from the 2010 season with the Buffaloes.
Declaring for the 2011 NBA Draft after his sophomore season at Colorado, Burks is an excellent leader that can kill you in many ways, but he is a streaky three-point shooter and will have to improve upon the 29 percent of three-pointers made in 2010.
Continuing to rebuild their team, the Cleveland Cavaliers should make some good selections in the 2011 NBA Draft and Colorado’s Alec Burks is as good an athlete as any left on the board.
