I Missed the Race; Did Anything Happen? FIA Sides with Ferrari Again!

AnthonyCorrespondent IOctober 11, 2008

According to the GrandPrix.com, I did!

The FIA Stewards issued a weird ruling at the end of the Japanese Grand Prix, penalising Sebastien Bourdais 25 seconds for a collision with Felipe Massa.

The additional time meant that Bourdais loses his sixth place, falling to 10th behind Sebastian Vettel, Felipe Massa, Mark Webber, and Nick Heidfeld.

The decision was odd in that most observers thought that the investigation into the incident would consider whether Massa should be punished, as Bourdais appeared to be ahead when the collision occurred.
