Cameron Jordan makes Jaguars more dangerous up front

The Jaguars are another team in need of a quarterback, but alas, there is not one here worth mentioning. Cameron Jordan might sneak into the top ten, but is much more palatable here. He can fit into either scheme and gives the Jaguars a much needed boost at defensive end.

The Jaguars considered running the ball and stopping the run to be their strengths last season. Jordan contributes to the run stopping effort while giving the pass rush some help. He is a complete defensive end who has all the tools to be dominant at the next level.

There are a lot of question marks in Jacksonville. Rather than taking a gamble here and reaching, it’s best to take a pick the Jaguars can feel safe with. Jordan has very few holes in his game and could come in and contribute from day one.

We probably aren’t looking at a rookie of the year candidate, but he had a solid career at Cal and could help the team moreso than any other prospect on the board. Jacksonville made a run at the AFC South title last season and could have used a guy who could get to Peyton Manning with everything on the line.
