2011 NBA Playoffs: Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Game 4 Live Blog
The Thunder will want to wrap this one up with the efficient and effective contributions of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
The Nuggets will try to find some sort of cohesiveness to get back in this series. The Nuggets will have to be aggressive and shoot the ball well, there season is on the line.
The Oklahoma City Thunder must be aware that the Nuggets have their backs against the wall and will try to get them to shoot long, ill-advised shots and avoid any work in the paint.
The Thunder have done a great job on the glass and if they win the offensive rebound battle, this game could be over before we know it.

Nuggets win 104-101, game four is complete and Denver extend their season to at least another game.
They played with explosive energy and were the better team on this one.
The Thunder stuck around but Westbrook suddenly went cold. They did not look like the same team that has one the last three games and will need to regroup.
Gallinari played an excellent game, he hit the shots he needed to hit and Andersen stepped up when Nene and Martin were in foul trouble. JR Smith, as frustrating as he is to watch, also hit the big shots when needed. Lawson with a playoff career high 27 points carried the Nuggets at times.
The Nuggets got the job done, they played hard and deserved this win.

Lawson fouled and he could put this one out of reach by just sinking one of two.
Anti-climatic there, Westbrook had enough time to get a better look, he heaved it up their similar to a hail-Mary play in football.
Was not a good shot and there was still plenty of time left to tie this one up.

He makes the second free throw. Perkins and Nene gets tangled. The refs intervene.
Perkins wants to know why there wasn't a foul called. Only 15.2 seconds left he won't get that one.

They'll need to work quickly here and I'd wager, either Westbrook or Durant take this shot. Whoever has the cleaner look..

Westbrook misses the three.

98-96 after he drains the three, now a 2 point game and the Thunder have the ball.

Ibaka sinks the jumper, down by 5 with still plenty time left.
Nene and Martin both now have 5 fouls. Nene fouled where he has gone 3 for 7 from the free throw line.
He hits one of two, biggest free throws of the game. 98-91, 1:54 left in the game.
Westbrook with an "and1," he simply won't quit.

Nuggets now have the biggest lead of the game, 10 points.
Ibaka fouled by Martin, smart foul as it would have been an easy slam.
2:44 remaining in the fourth, Nuggets up by 9 with Nene at the line shooting free throws.
Durant and Westbrook just look out of it. They haven't matched the intensity of the Nuggets, who have not given up the fight.
Gallinari drains the open three. The crowd on their feet. That might have been the one that seals Game 4.
Thunder trail, 96-87 with three minutes to go. Gallinari, Lawson, and JR Smith have made the difference in this one.
Gallinari, who has been hot all game hits a long two, 93-87, with just over three minutes to go.
Who else? Lawson, now with 23 makes a contested layup.
Then Lawson goes to the other end of the court and draws a charge on Westbrook.
Russel Westbrook gets his own, long rebound. The Thunder get rewarded, Durant fouled in the act.
He goes to the line and cuts the lead to 2.

Gallinari responds with a short jumper, both teams heating up once again.
Durant fouled and the crowd is very vocal, as is George Karl. They didn't like that one.
He hits both from the line.
89-85, Kendrick Perkins back out on the floor.
Durant hits the three, Thunder back in this. Durant has 21.

Westbrook his a 2 point layup, he has 25.

Nuggets have just shown so much more energy this game, it's starting to pay dividends. They are hitting their shots and making the effort defensively as well.
Durant is mad, lost the ball and he seems frustrated. JR Smith answers with a three from the corner. He is happy, yelling to the crowd.
The crowd are making noise. Thunder call a timeout.
