The Hurricanes game last night in the RBC center surely did not disappoint the Caniac nation.  They had a rough start in the first period with a 2-0 deficit in the first ten minutes but quickly over came that on their way to a 6-4 win last night. 

With goals by ray Whitney, Rod BrindAmour, Joni Pitkanenn, new Cane Dan LaCoture, Matt Cullen, and of course the empty netter by none other than Eric Staal.  The four Florida came from David Booth, former Cane Cory Stillman, Radek  Dvorak and Nathan Horton. 

The canes victory last night was the first home opener victory since the 2001 season.  Well that's it for this exciting recap of last nights game keep lookout for more to come
