The actual NFL draft is is just a few days away and players are rising and falling on the draft boards.

After months of mock drafts, it is hard to believe the real draft will finally be here.

The wide array of mock drafts now available online is unbelievable, and everyone has an opinion. This is probably just the tip of the iceberg in the coming years if you think about it. Any bad report coming from the scouts or the front offices spreads like lightning and everyone's mock draft adapts to compensate for the new order of things.

Nick Fairley has gone from a potential No. 1 overall pick to rumors several teams would not even take him in the second round due to work ethic issues and his one-year-wonder status.

Quarterbacks will rule, as Jake Locker, once was a candidate for the first overall pick, had a senior season that was not as spectacular as the scouts wanted it to be, garnering him second-round consideration until the last few weeks.

Now, he may be a first-round prospect again, possibly going in the top 10.

Things will continue to change, as will my mock draft.
