Zach HerringCorrespondent IIApril 25, 2011

VCU’s former star point guard Joey Rodriguez is currently playing professionally in Puerto Rico. Rodriguez, who averaged 10.4 points and 5.2 assists per game last season, is expected to play in Puerto Rico for three months before heading overseas to continue his professional basketball career.

Rodriguez was a key factor that led the VCU Rams to their first ever Final Four. Former Ram Jesse Pellot-Rosa, is on the same team (San German) as Rodriquez.

So far, in two games, Rodriguez has a total of 15 points, scoring six in the first and nine in the second.
