As the NBA playoffs get underway, more than half the league has already moved on to the offseason.  Front offices are scouting players and judging draft picks without knowing where they will be picking (if they are in the lottery) or if there will even be a season next year.

The 2011 NBA Draft picture has yet to clear.  Some players have yet to decide whether they are entering the draft, the lottery balls have yet to be picked and the draft order is still in flux.

If the Minnesota Timberwolves get the No. 1 overall pick, they will be faced with a choice between two of the most talented players in the country: Derrick Williams and Kyrie Irving.

Derrick Williams had a spectacular tournament for Arizona and has a unique blend of size and skill.  Minnesota will not be able to pass up the best pure scorer in the draft with pick No. 1.
