UFC 129 Predictions: Ben Henderson Over Mark Bocek on the Main Card

Ben "Smooth" Henderson makes his UFC debut as the former WEC light heavyweight champion rolls with Canadian Mark Bocek to kick of the main card at UFC 129.

The 27-year-old American is coming off only the second defeat in his 14-tussle career, a unanimous decision loss to Anthony "Showtime" Pettis that cost him the WEC lightweight belt and made him an Internet phenomenon as the recipient of Pettis' now-famous "Showtime Kick."

What got lost in that highlight shuffle is that Smooth ate that fence-propelled kick and didn't go out. He also wore a brutal knee to the dome from Showtime, who is a supremely dangerous lightweight. In other words, Benson Henderson has one hell of a chin.

Bocek proclaimed his jiu-jitsu as the class of the 155-pound division, which is a bold statement.

I think his claim gets tested by Smooth, who's an accomplished grappler as well, and Henderson's obvious advantage on the feet gives him the win by unanimous decision.
