2011 NFL Mock Draft Sees Indianapolis New Offensive Line Foundation

You can call the Indianapolis Colts' first round pick "The Peyton Manning Pick." The Colts have struggled with pass protection for a couple years now, and with Manning getting older ,and likely more fragile, the Colts will do anything they have to do to ensure he stays healthy.

Nate Solder is a huge offensive tackle with tremendous raw skills and unlimited potential. He was thought to be the top offensive lineman coming out of college a few months ago, but a few other guys moved past him with impressive workouts.

Still, the Colts will be thrilled to get Solder at this spot in the first round. They need to get younger on the offensive line, as well as bring some stability to what was once the best offensive line in the NFL.
