Brandon Marshall Stabbing, 2011 NBA Playoffs and Saturday's Late Sports News

Brandon Marshall was reportedly stabbed Friday night at his Southwest Ranches home. His wife, Michi Nogami-Marshall, was arrested by Broward Sheriff's Office on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon in connection with the stabbing. This is according to an arrest report, via the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Nogami-Marshall reportedly told deputies that she stabbed Marshall with a kitchen knife in self defense. Marshall reportedly said he slipped and fell on a broken glass vase, yet deputies found no blood near the vase.

The Miami Dolphins star receiver was reportedly not seriously injured.

In NBA news, the Chicago Bulls attempt to close out the Indiana Pacers today in the 2011 NBA Playoffs, leading the series, 3-0, behind star point guard Derrick Rose.

The Portland Trail Blazers will try to rebound against the Dallas Mavericks at home Thursday, by capturing a game and getting back into the series. Veteran guard Brandon Roy, who found himself playing eight minutes in Game 2, played 24 minutes in Game 3, dropping 16 points, and showing he could contribute despite midseason surgery.

After evening the series at one game apiece behind Manu Ginobili's return to the court in Game 2, the San Antonio Spurs will look to assert their dominance in Game 3 at Memphis, against the feisty Grizzlies.

And the Denver Nuggets find themselves in an 0-2 hole against the promising Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at home, trying to figure out a way to slow down Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.
