TNA: Former X-Divison Champion, Jay Lethal Leaves TNA Wrestling

Hello, Bleacherholics

Yup, Black Machismo has left the building, well, according to multiple online sources he has.

Although the reason for his departure is yet to be expressed, in my humble view, I feel Lethal has been used sparingly in the last few months and that possibly might have frustrated Lethal.

The New Jersey native won the TNA X-Division Title on six occasions, was named X-Divison wrestler of the year in 2007 and also won a TNA Tag Team Championship with current WWE/FCW Development star Xavier Woods, better known as Consequences Creed.

Lethal shares the title of most reigns as X Division Champion, an accomplishment he holds with the face of TNA, AJ Styles.

Despite his prolific feud with Ric Flair last year, it seemed TNA was using him to the fullest as a singles star. Some even tapped him as the next main event player in TNA, but once the feud ended, Lethal suffered a great loss of TV time.

Jay Lethal is 26-years-old and in prime condition. Perhaps WWE may keep an eye on him similar to his former tag team partner, Consequences Creed.

What are your views and opinions on Jay Lethal?

Did you ever feel he had a legit chance of main-eventing in TNA?

Do you feel he will join WWE?

Or perhaps you think his 15 minutes of fame are up?
