Brock Lesnar vs. JDS: TUF 13 on Spike TV—Brock Lesnar’s Assessment Is Spot on

Brock Lesnar might not be setting the world afire with his coaching abilities, but maybe that is the fault of his fighters because his post-fight analysis of Charlie Rader’s performance seemed to sync up perfectly with what I just saw.

Maybe there’s more to the story, but Rader really did look like he simply wasn’t interested in the scrap.

I’m sure Ramsey is a formidable antagonist, but that doesn’t change the fact that Charlie looked like he was trying to lose without getting hurt rather than trying to win.

And the ease with which he tapped to the rear-naked choke really made it seem like he just wanted out.

What’s worse is that Dana White agrees. So much so that he goes to bat for the stool-tossing Lesnar and uses the dreaded q-word (quit) more than once.

In other words, don’t count on seeing much more of Charlie Rader in the UFC.

The good news—for the audience, not Len Bentley—is that Brock Lesnar is beginning to crack. A couple more losses and we should have a full-blown meltdown on our hands. Should be worth the wait.

It took four episodes, but the fuse is finally lit on this bad boy.

See you next week.
