*UPDATE: Voting Now Closed*

In the process of putting together a particularly large and quite important slideshow in terms of World Football, I have come across many different goals which could all stake a claim at being one of the finest goals the world has seen.

In fact, the list that needs narrowing down to just 100 goals is currently 126 names long.

For this very reason, there is a chance for you to be a part of these rankings. Not by scoring a screamer of your own (as delightful as that may be), but by voting upon your favourite goals of all time.

THIS LINK will take you straight to the page where you may vote for as many goals as you would like out of the 126 on offer. (Link Disabled)

Even if a goal is a dead cert to be in the top 100, remember to keep voting for it to get it higher in the list!

The list includes goals scored by greats such as Pele and Maradona, right through to the recent era, including Lionel Messi and Thierry Henry.

In fact, the list also includes Matty Burrows', now infamous, backheel volley in the Irish leagues that was nominated for last year's FIFA Puskas Award, as well as the eventual winner of that award, scored by Hamit Altintop.

Please do keep in mind not to just vote for your favourite player over and over just because they're your favourite. Remember, this is based on the goals themselves as opposed to the players.

The deadline for voting is Friday, 29th April at Midnight GMT (7PM EDT), so make sure to get your votes in before then!

The results will follow soon afterwards.

So here it is, your chance to be involved in the Bleacher Report's guide to the top 100 goals in football history!
