Donald Cerrone Talks to B/R About Mac Danzig, Women's MMA and Fighting Teammates
After the April 9 Jackson's MMA Series IV fight card in Albuquerque, N.M., Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone spoke to Bleacher Report about a variety of topics.
They included his upcoming fight with Mac Danzig, the future of women's MMA, what it's like training with Gina Carano, and how the dynamic at Jackson's MMA has changed since Rashad Evans left that camp in preparation for his upcoming light heavyweight title fight against former teammate Jon Jones.
The conversation began on a comic note thanks to guest interviewer Brad Tate, who kicked off the interview.
Watchers of The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 reality show might remember Tate as the paramedic who taunted Josh Koscheck to the point that Koscheck tried to choke him, and proceeded to call Tate a "male nurse," which was supposed to be an insult.
The interview ends with an invitation to Bleacher Report to attend a pig roast at the ranch Cerrone recently purchased with his teammate Leonard Garcia. We fully intend to be there.
