Former WWE Champ, 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair Stars in New Scratch Ticket Commercial

WWE Hall of Famer and pro wrestling legend Ric Flair is featured in a new commercial for the North Carolina Education Lottery.

And you just have to see it to believe it.

“It takes a lot to be the man,” says Flair, now 62-years-young, via voice-over. “If you need to brush up on your “stylin’ and profilin’, even your knife hand chop, then you might be WOOOOO! University material."

See, WOOOOO! University is a made-up school where students learn to coif their thinning blond hair, dress in frilly sequined robes and scream “WOOOOO!” just like the Nature Boy.

It’s a pretty laughable concept all around, especially given that it’s really promoting the WOOOOO! II scratch-off game.

But the exciting part is that this ad is just the tip of the iceberg.

It seems that Flair has been promoting lotto scratch tickets across the South—North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee—for several years now.
