College football, like the National Football League and, to an extent, Major League Baseball, knows no offseason.

There are hirings, firings, scandals, recruiting, spring ball, summer's why coaches like Urban Meyer get burned out. It's truly a year-round entity and that's why we love it so much.

Even in the most benign of times, there's always something going on.

Today we'll catch you up with some comments SEC Commissioner Mike Slive made about playing on Sundays if the NFL lockout continues, some spring ball news and a potential injury.
