I was surfing the Internet as usual when I saw a post in Smackdown Diva Victoria's blog, where she sounded as if she was hinting retirement. Here is what I found:

"I have been doing my best to lay the Smackdown every Friday night. I hope everyone followed us to MyNetwork. Again, I am very thankful to have had a long and successful WWE career. Although between you and me, I think I have one more championship run left before I hang up the wrestling boots. What do you think?"

Everyone who commented on it and said anything remotely close to the article besides "your so hot" and other weird stuff took this as a retirement speech. Victoria has been on Smackdown pretty much every week, doing a pretty good job in my opinion.

The only thing is that she is losing to mid-card Divas or up and comers in the Smackdown diva pool, such as Brie Bella. In an interview Torrie Wilson said "it is tough to watch a veteran and former Women's Champion lose to up and coming divas...she has done so well for so long, it is a shame."

I loved Victoria when she came into the WWE awhile back, and as mentioned she is a former WWE Women's Champion, so she has done well for herself in my opinion. If she does retire it would be sort of bad for the company really.

Mainly because she and Natalia, along with Maryse are the diva heels on Smackdown. And although Maryse and Natalia can handle it, a veteran diva on Smackdwon with her skill is very hard to find. None of the divas; not even Divas Champ Michelle McCool, have the wrestling ability and veteran leadership she has.

So it would be a tragedy if she were to go. I don't think she will in my honest opinion, and I think people may have taken the quote out of on context. But if she does, thank you for the memories Victoria.
