2011 Major League Baseball Draft Order

With the NFL draft just a couple of weeks away, I thought it was a good time to remind everyone that the Major League Baseball draft is quickly approaching and is just a couple of months away. This year’s draft will take place on June 6th in Secaucus, NJ.

Here is this year’s draft order based on team’s 2010 record and compensation picks for losing free agent:



Guys you will be hearing about as the draft approaches are: Gerrit Cole (RHP, UCLA), Anthony Rendon (3B, Rice), Sonny Gray (RHP, Vanderbilt), Matt Barnes (RHP, UConn), Matthew Purke (LHP, TCU), and Bubba Starling (OF, Gardner—Edgerton).
