Nice day for a practice in front of 93,000 fans, hey?

Alabama held its A Day spring game on Saturday, and some of the question marks are slowly being sorted out. It was a day that started with the school unveiling a nine-foot tall statue of head coach Nick Saban and ended with the game.

It appears A.J. McCarron has the inside edge at quarterback although Saban was pleased with the play of third-string QB Blake Sims. McCarron, completed 21 of 38 overall attempts for 222 yards and a touchdown. Sims was 19 of 38 for 229 yards and one interception.
