In the above photo, you see the look that Tommy Tuberville and many Auburn fans have had so many times this year thanks to Auburn's offensive offense.

Well, Auburn fans, you may see a new offensive coordinator to save the day.

Sources close to the team are saying that first-year offensive coordinator Tony Franklin has been fired after the Tigers only averaged 13 points in their four SEC games so far, going 2-2.

Franklin, a renowned coordinator who had built a business selling his lucrative offensive system, was fired around 3:40 p.m. ET. Few details are available at the time this is being written.

The frustration over Auburn's anemic offense this year hit a boiling point Saturday night as Vanderbilt beat Auburn, 14-13, making it the third time in six games this year Auburn has scored 14 points or fewer in a game.

Auburn is currently ranked 104th in the nation in total offense and 11th in the SEC, in front of (strangely enough) Vanderbilt.
