Tonight is the big night. Tonight is the night when Edge will relinquish the World title on Smackdown, in what is supposed to be one of the most emotional shows WWE has put on in a very long time.
The video of Edge relinquishing the championship has been all over the internet since it was taped on Tuesday, and it is very hard to watch. You can see the pain in Edge's body language and the hurt in his voice during his near 10-minute promo.
The ending of the show is said to be one of the better moments that the WWE has had since Shawn Michaels' retirement speech last year.
For those that don't know, Christian will get a shot at the title against Alberto Del Rio, by winning a battle royal to close the show tonight.
Christian and Edge celebrate in the ring after the match is over.
By all accounts, it sounds like the WWE gave Edge a more than appropriate send-off.
John Morrison is still being buried for dissing Trish Stratus at Wrestlemania.
I would bet that if he hadn't done what he did, he would be in the WWE championship match at Extreme Rules. Certainly, he would be more deserving than R-Truth.
Linda McMahon is talking about another possible senate run. I hope with every fiber of my being that she doesn't do it, because the last time she did things were a media disaster for the WWE and they had to do some serious mop-up duty.
We will have all the latest news and information from the WWE throughout the day.
