The only thing keeping the University of Michigan from winning two straight national titles is the signing of all-star quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
They already have an all-star running back signed who goes by the name of Sam McGuffie.
If you put those two together with the surrounding players that Michigan has, theres nothing stoping them from the national title. Look at what Rich Rodriguez did at West Virginia University with Pat White and Steve Slaton.
Except theres a difference, it's the University of Michigan! They actually have a defense to back their offense, and not to mention the BIG HOUSE.
If your a Michigan fan and your not excited about having Rich and the spread offense at Michigan than your crazy because I'm sick of watching the traditional grind it out offense that they've always had. I'm not saying that it wasn't successful but it sure hasn't gotten the job done since '97.
Also, the signing of John Beilien was great. You give him a few years to recruit and Michigan will once again be a contender in the Big Ten. He already brought Lucas-Perry home and he has a great freshman in Manny Harris. He hasn't yet had a chance to establish himself with his own recruits but you give him a few years and Tom Izzo will actually have competition in landing some of the recruits that he has so easily gotten in the past. Michigan has done a great job in hiring two "Non-Michigan" men.
Of course Rich wasn't the first choice, but you'll see in the end it was the best choice. Both him and Beilien are winners and always will be because they left WVU for the great UofM.
