Marek Svatos: an Underrated Contender

Trevor BentleyCorrespondent IJanuary 15, 2008

Marek Svatos, a four-year player for the Colorado Avalanche, may not be a familiar name even to the most intuitive of hockey fans.

Having scored 69 goals and 35 assists in 4 years with the Avs, Svatos should have been a top consideration for the NHL All-Star game, but instead was overlooked.

In my opinion, Svatos will be a top contender in a few years, not to mention what a player like Svatos could do for the Avs' fan base in Colorado.

Only Time Will Tell.

And as for the Avs who are on a three game road-winning streak, hopefully they can continue to work their magic for the duration of the season.
