2011 NFL Mock Draft: Adam Weber- #220 Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys Add Insurance at Quarterback Position In Last Round
At first you may think that the Cowboys already have two quarterbacks capable of playing in Tony Romo and John Kitna, but with Kitna not getting any younger and Romo coming off an injury it is always safe to have a third option.
That third quarterback could be Adam Weber, who had a very good career at Minnesota even though the Golden Gophers failed to put together very many wins.
Weber is not the typical quarterback frame in that he stands only an inch over six foot, but he has incredible athleticism and will be very durable in the pocket.
The Cowboys won't need another quarterback for a few years, but by drafting Weber they have a steady third-stringer and the possibility of hitting the jackpot late in the draft.
I see Weber being the last selected quarterback in the draft, with players like T.J. Yates and Josh Portis going undrafted.
