2011 NFL Mock Draft: Tyrod Taylor- #194 New York Jets
Jets Add Dual Threat Quarterback To Backup Sanchez
Like the Giants, the New York Jets also need to add a quarterback in the draft to backup franchise quarterback Mark Sanchez.
With the potential loss of Kellen Clemens and Brad Smith to free agency Tyrod Taylor would be the perfect addition.
Taylor is a dual threat quarterback who unlike many good running quarterbacks can also throw with just as much success.
The reason Taylor is so low on most expert's draft boards is because many dual threat players cannot reproduce in the NFL, but with the specific uses the Jets would have for Taylor he would be able to adjust.
Taylor was a star at Virginia Tech last season and was the main reason the team was able to reach the Orange Bowl.
The Wildcat is now one of the most dangerous formations in football, and if the Jets loss Brad Smith then Tyrod Taylor is a must draft.
