As you all know, RVD is a Hardcore legend, fought in the ECW and WWE, and has been champion there numerous times. In addition, he is Mr. Monday Night, and was one of the most exciting wrestlers ever to watch. But, now he is doing something I personally never saw coming.

He is now a radio personality. On Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10:00 ET, Van Dam will debut his new talk radio show, "RVD Radio" (www.blogtalkradio.com/rvdradio) on BlogTalkRadio (www.blogtalkradio.com).

Joining Van Dam for the show's kick-off will be former WWE star Chris "The Masterpiece" Masters and former WWE and World Championship Wrestling star Shawn Stasiak. They will discuss individualism, censorship, and pro wrestling, as well as take calls from listeners.

The one-hour weekly program will include guest appearances, hot topic discussions regarding sports, politics, entertainment, top music picks, weekly updates, and highlights from Van Dam's online reality series, "The Whole F'n Show."

BlogTalkRadio listeners can call in by dialing (347) 308-8753.

I personally can't wait. Although I don't have his show in my area, I will go online and hear it. I mean who is cooler than Rob...Van... Dam!! He will have this show every week, but will more than just unemployed wrestlers be on it?

That is what I am worried about. I mean RVD is cool, yes, but I'd rather see him in the ring, rather than hear him on the radio. No offense to RVD because the show should be good, but I'd rather see RVD in the ring.

Maybe they will do like they did with Howard Stern and have the radio show on TV as well. Mike and Mike in the Morning does the same thing on ESPN 2. I don't know; we will have to see how it does, but what do you think about RVD's new career path?
